Bloomberg Post trade (Drop copy)
Â
KODIAK Oms is able to receive orders and trades through an Bloomberg FIX drop copy connection, these are received in a separate websocket connection to the KODIAK Ems system.
KODIAK Oms creates the instrument if it is not in the KODIAK database with information from the message from KODIAK Ems(Symbol, ISIN, Currency)
Optional: If the instrument is not in the database it is possible to fetch Static data for the instrument from Bloomberg, a data licence has to be requested from Bloomberg to enable this feature.
A trader id is received through the connection and can be mapped to user in KODIAK Oms by adding a Bloomberg trader to the user. If the trader id is not found a default user is attached to the order and trade.
After the trades and orders are received from the connection they can be allocated to the backoffice system.
The system can also create a broker leg as a market order for manual allocations of the broker leg
