Market Depth

The KODIAK Pro Market Depth instrument shows the market depth for a selected trade or bond. Market depth is available for Level 2 and Level 2+ data subscribers.
Adding an instrument to Market Depth
To add an instrument to Market Depth select the Market Depth option on the top tool bar, or use the CRTL+1 or F5 keyboard shortcuts. By typing the first letters of a symbol in the text box, KODIAK Pro will show a drop-down menu with suggested bonds and stocks. Select an instrument and click on Add or press Enter on the keyboard.
A Market Depth instrument for the chosen symbol will be added to the KODIAK Pro workspace.
Options and Data
By default, Market Depth will show the last price of the stock or bond, an indicator showing whether the price is going up or down, mid level and volume. By right-clicking the column bar, more information can be added.
Orderbook properties
Right-click on a bond or stock and choose Orderbook Properties to access the orderbook properties. Here is general, in-depth information about the symbol.
Overview
Open an overview for a symbol by right-clicking any cell in Market Depth and choosing Overview.
Buy / sell market order
Create a market order directly through market depth by right clicking and choosing Buy or Sell.
Other instruments
By right-clicking any cell in Market Depth, it is possible to open a control for that instrument directly. KODIAK Pro opens a new window for that instrument.
