New Features and fixes for the KODIAK Oms Client

KODIAK Oms 1.9 focuses on streamlining the user interface, fixing cosmetic issues and stomping out bugs.  Only a few new features.   Server changes can be found here.

Features

Allocation: Manual settlement.  Now it is possible to send special comments to back office.  These messages can be used by back office people to process the allocations from KODIAK Oms.

To enable the Libra service config:  <add key="ManualSettlementText" value="use any text "/>
To add the Manual check box in the KODIAK Oms users need to modify the Client config: <add key="ManualSettlementEnabled" value="true"/>

Rejected by back office: It's now possible to reject orders in Libra and send the order back to KODIAK Oms.  The rejected client order becomes Allocation ready and the user can change the allocation parameters.  Customer who want this feature need some integration work from our development team

Connection error messages have been improved.

Bond calculatorBond calculator can now be found in the toolbar.
View and Tools combined

The menu for View and Tools have now been combined, with Bond Calculator and Aggregated trades being moved over into View.

Green color in watch list darkenedDue to popular demand we've turned the green color in Watch List / Aggregated Orderbook down some notes, from the previous lime green to a more pleasant forest green.
More Keyboard Shortcuts

Market order view now has keyboard shortcuts similar to Client order view;

ENTER - Order details

F5 - Modify order

F6 - Cancel Order

Increased decimals in Dirty PriceClient order window & Allocation window shows 6 decimals, instead of 4, in the dirty price for bonds.
KODIAK OMS Documentation

The documentation for KODIAK Oms is now available in KODIAK Oms , under KODIAK menu > Help > Documentation.

New Logo and Splash Screen

KODIAK OMS 1.9 now has a new splash screen and logo.

Light blue notification in market depth window

Users will see a blue colored notification in market depth window if buy and sell sides will match in the opening auction and if there is an imbalance.

More decimals in Create Trade in Aggregated Trades

Now it is possible to create Manual Trades with 4 decimals in the Aggregated Trades window.

Disabled fields in Trade Report

S Client and S Order ref is now disabled when creating a Buy order. B Client and B Order ref is now disabled when creating a Sell order.

The fields are not disabled when creating an Internal order.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed titling inconsistencies between Client Order and Market Order
  • Fixed issue with non-standard settlement trade type occasionally giving wrong dirty price for bonds
  • Fixed issue with non-Standard settlement trade types reading wrong settlement dates
  • Fixed issue with Dirty price not calculating correctly in 'Apply fee on broker leg' Trade Reports with Non Standard Settlements
  • Fixed context menu in Market depth context so Trade Ticker can be opened directly through Market Depth
  • Added a 'Add' button to submarket menu in Trade Ticker > Submarkets
  • Fixed a cosmetic issue with user being able to clear a trade report sent in from counter party, with out the report being affected.
  • Fixed context menu in Trade ticker so now Market Depth can be opened directly through trade ticker.
  • Fixed Forward allocation fee bug.
