RTD - Excel Real Time Data

Link real time data into Excel

The RTD feature allows users to link real time data into Excel. To use the feature, the KODIAK Excel RTD add-on is required.

Note that KODIAK Excel RTD is not KODIAK Excel. KODIAK Excel provides additional functions and queries as well as more connectivity options.

Enable RTD feature

1. Enable the RTD feature by clicking Tools in the top bar menu and selecting Enable Excel RTD.

2. KODIAK Pro will download a .msi file.

3. Restart Excel.

4. Select the cells from the Watch list. Select Copy RTD Link from the context menu.

5. Open an Excel sheet and paste the data from KODIAK Pro.

6. Now the data will update live within Excel.

The data will only update if KODIAK Pro is open.

It is possible to copy RTD from Watch Lists, Indexes and Returns.

Some users need to right click the .msi file and choose Properties and press Unblock.

If there is a problem with the formula in Excel.

Open up Region Settings and then Additional Settings. Make sure that the List separator matches the Excel format.
