Fuzzy Matching of Private Orders with Market Data

When Kodiak OMS displays market depth it combines market data with private orders data to highlight and add functionality to your own orders.

With the INET system, which brokers the Icelandic equity market, we receive a mapping id in the private data source which tells the system which market data order the private data order corresponds to.

Using this mapping id we can always be confident that the correct market order is highlighted.

Genium Inet does not provide a mechanism to match private orders with market data orders.

It is therefore necessary to match orders by Participant, Volume and Price.

In the circumstances where there are more than one order with the same Participant, Volume and Price we cannot be sure which order is which.

Here we have 2 orders from that same participant ISY49 for 9.500.000@100. One order which is the clients and can be modified and the other which is part of another group and cannot be modified.

The system then highlights both (or multiple) orders with a different color as shown below, and right clicking on either one with display actions.

In the case when there are more than one private order accessible to the client with the same values a list will be displayed in the context menu with all private orders at that volume and price.
