RTD - Excel Real Time Data

Link real time data into Excel

The RTD feature allows users to link real time data into Excel. To use the feature, the KODIAK Excel RTD add-on is required.

Note that KODIAK Excel RTD is not KODIAK Excel. KODIAK Excel provides additional functions and queries as well as more connectivity options.

Install KODIAK Excel RTD add-on

Install one of the following components according to what version of Microsoft Excel you are using.

Install for 32 bit Excel

Install for 64 bit Excel

After downloading, right click the .msi file and choose Properties and press Unblock.

Enable RTD feature

1. Enable the RTD feature by clicking Tools in the top bar menu and selecting Enable Excel RTD.

2. Restart Excel.

3. Select the cells from the Watch list. Select Copy RTD Link from the context menu.

4. Open an Excel sheet and paste the data from KODIAK Pro.

5. Now the data will update live within Excel.

The data will only update if KODIAK Pro is open.

Currently, RTD links are only supported within data from Watch lists.
