To close a contract the contract quantity must be sold on the market. The contract must be sold on the market and then allocated to the Kodiak Forward Contracts.

Step 1. Allocate the Client Order into Kodiak Forwards

Step 2. Choose the new transaction. Right click on the transaction and choose “Close contract”

Result: The “Close contract” window should appear

Step 3. Choose the matching contract from the “Closing Contract” drop down menu.

Result: The info of the contract to be closed should appear in the window.

Step 4. Push “Close Contract” button

> The “Close contract” window closes.

> The closing Contract State should be “Closed” but the transaction state should be “Complete”
